WillowPaw Great Pyrenees

WillowPaw Great Pyrenees was registered with the Canadian Kennel Club in 1994. We have gone to great lengths to acquire sound breeding stock and they are the type, soundness, and temperament, that we believe is true to the breed standard. Prior to registering with the CKC, we fell in love with the Rivergroves Pyrs that we saw as we researched the breed. In particular, we loved "T.R." (Am./Can. Ch. Rivergroves Run For The Roses) who is the top winning Great Pyrenees of all time. We saw that the top winning Pyr of all time in Canada is a Rivergroves dog too — Am./Can. Ch. Rivergroves If Looks Could Kil — known as "Looker." As our research proceeded, we continued to marvel at the incredible succession of winning and record holding Great Pyrenees that Rivergroves has produced.
Eventually, we talked with Jean and got a Rivergroves Great Pyrenees of our own. This began a relationship, which has also become a valued friendship, for the past ten years. We feel very fortunate to co-own and co-breed with Jean and Wayne Boyd of Rivergroves, and look forward to continuing our association.
With our breeding program, we seek not only to produce good examples of the breed according to the standard, but also to produce gentle, loving, and healthy pets for approved homes.
